LifeWorks Wellness Center
In 1997, Dr. Minkoff and his wife, Sue Minkoff R.N. co-founded LifeWorks Wellness Center, one of the largest alternative medical clinics in the U.S. This wellness center combines more cutting-edge alternative therapies and modalities under the same roof than almost any other alternative clinic in the country.
At LifeWorks, the focus is on healing and resolving the underlying cause of illness. The practitioners look at the whole body to see how it’s working, because they recognize the importance of the relationships that exist in the physiology of the body. They do not do “band aid” medicine, or “cover up the symptom” medicine. They find what is really wrong with a patient’s body and handle it.
The demand for the products and protocols Dr. Minkoff discovered as Medical Director of LifeWorks, became a catalyst for founding BodyHealth.Com, LLC in 2000. This nutrition company manufactures and distributes cutting-edge solutions to practitioners and the public, and offers them the opportunity to have access to a unique dietary supplements and education.
Dr. Minkoff also works actively with many world-class athletes to help them improve their competitive fitness. These athletes put heavy stress on their bodies, and must be able to recover rapidly from injury.
A 41-time Ironman finisher himself, (including eight appearances in the Ironman World Championships) Dr. Minkoff has first-hand experience to help these athletes achieve optimum conditioning.
Home Health Works
Home Health Works is a privately-owned home health agency which was established by Dr. Minkoff’s wife, Sue Minkoff R.N. in 1992, with Dr. Minkoff as its CEO. She believed then, as now, that in order to provide the highest quality of home care, patients must be treated like family.
Based in Clearwater, Florida, Home Health Works provides home health care professionals up to 24 hours a day in any home or facility within Pasco and Pinellas counties. Dr. Minkoff remains on the board of Home Health Works and is actively involved in over-seeing its activities.
